Any of you use the above? He seems to have a good reputation according to this guy. He also has MB STAR or whatever it is nowadays.

I suppose the gamble was that the roof would have been an easy fix. We've got to wait for that bit and also the MOT!

I have used H&C for 7 years now.
My wife's 2017 GLA and my 2015 212 350 both go there. Gary has saved me a lot of money when we were foolish enough to have a BMW 1 series.
They charge 1/2 main dealer price for labour, their guys are ex main dealer. They have Star and a service is entered on the MB computor record. They don't charge for a loan car which has to be booked in advance.
No frills, they won't wash your car and the coffee is help yourself from a machine, but free. Decent clean warm waiting area with wi fi and a tv and a clean toilet.
Best of all, they are honest guys who won't talk you into unnecessary work

That's a bonus...would save me remembering to tell them not to wash it.

Sounds like they are a good garage that you can trust, which is rare these days.
