Had a '58 Frogeye and a 100/6 back in the late 70's. I also met the great man himself, Donald Healey, around 1978 when he came to the annual Austin Healey Club Bash in Meriden one year.
Emblems where stickers from previous rallies etc, the chap in the picture Andy, he takes it all over europe to various meets.
Amazing really 40 years ols and it starts within a second on the turn of the key, really nice to drive, I didnt push it as it was raining and the screen doesnt stop the rain hitting your forehead which is quite painful above 40mph.
There should be a meeting soon in my area so I might pop along and get some other pics.
Used to have a MGB back in the sixties, never realised how daft i looked with my head sticking over the top of the windscreen with the hood down. Or maybe i just have a big head.
