What are the issues with trying to use headlights from USa & the continent in a UK w208, can you adjust them to be compliant or is this a no go area for us unless there are specifically made for right hand drive cars.

I believe one has to have headligh units designed for LHD traffic, as shown on the vehicle datacard.

"613 HEADLAMP LEFT.HAND TRAFFIC"
