HAND BRAKE (foot on Merc!) sticking

Advice wanted on how to free it without using my toes to get it in off position!! - WD40??

I take it the light stays illuminatind and gives an audible warning?

You need to take the slack out of the cable. lift up the left rear part of the seat base, underneath the black sound proofing and in the middle there is a cover. remove this by the two 8mm and one 13mm nuts/screws and then wind up the 13mm adjuster nut, you will see wot i mean. do it alittle at a time untill all the slack has gone and you cant move the assembly loosely. then check the pedal, this will make it return and put the light out when releasing the handle. keep adjusting untill the pedal is right.
