Handbrake Sticking on C220

Hi All,

I've had my C220 CDI Avantgarde Year 2000, for about 3 weeks,

Using this forum to sort out several problems / faults, etc.

Thanks All.

My Handbrake Problem is that when applied,
it's hit and miss whether the Hand release will free it up.

The previous owner warned me of this, and i haven't used it at all, just in case it locks on in an unfortunate location.
I haven't been able to contact the previous owner to find out how he used to release it !


Any Tips or ideas would be very welcome.

I think it's a 203,
The VIN # is WDB20300.................
is the only clue i can see on the Reg. Certificate,
Am I looking in the right place?

I can send you details of both the front cable and the rear cable.

It could be just a matter of lubricating the rear linkage.
