Usually I have several cars on the go at once, but this means some of them get neglected. Anyhow, today for the first time in about 9 months I started up a 190e that had been gathering dust and lots of cobwebs in the garage. I fitted a brand new battery, and the ol` girl started up without a splutter!!!
I took it for a spin around the block (to get some of the slight rust off the brake disks), and was amazed at how well the thing drives!!! I`m sure there are many members here with much better and more expensive Mercedes, but I can honestly say ....the 190e seems/feels/handles and (even more so thesedays) LOOKS like such a solid and handsome car..so to speak!!! Most impressed :0)
