Hard Ride

I have a c250TD SPORT and find the ride hard and bumpy. Took it to an Independent who is going to put it on the ramp next week and check it out.

He took it for a drive and said it did feel hard and in fact looked a bit low.

Any thoughts/comments

Hard to say exactly as you have not stated the mileage, however, assuming that it may be in excess of 90,000, you often find that the springs on diesels start to bulge and settle down and the shocks then no longer work as efficiently leading to a firmer ride.

Its something I will have to do on my W124 300D as the ride height has dropped at the front and the front springs have a bulge at the bottom
