hard start

hi would anybody out there know why my 1983 230e 120980 engine is hard to start when it has been running for a while, it starts first go when cold, i had new injectors fitted not long ago and now it seams to start first go when cold fast idles for a few seconds then the revs drop to 750 runs like a dream but after driving for along time parking then trying to start it takes a fair few goes to start it but it does start? :roll: leo

Check to see if you have any splits in the air hoses under the air intake and manifold or if any of the hoses have become disconnected. Tape any splits you find.

Check that the plugs are securely fitted to the warm up and cold start valves.

thank you for the info,i disconnected the breather pipe from the rocker
cover to under the air filter i taped the hole up under the air filter
because to much oil was getting into the air filter but the oil can still run back into the rocker cover via the pipe. would this have caused the problem do you think? :roll: leo
