Bottom rail badly corroded. What is the best method to replace same

if it is really bad might be easier to get good second hand one of ebay around £500, otherwise you will have to strip all trim have windows removed which are bonded in, the get all old rust cut out and weld fresh in. then respray, may even be worth sending away for sand blasting.
