Mine is rock hard...... almost like the air bags have too much pressure in them all the timeNo, my CLS320 has factory 245/40/18 and rear 275/35/18. I believe the airmatic models with the same wheels should have 255/40/18 and 285/35/18.
My CLS has a smooth ride with the 18s even with shorter bilstein shocks and lower stiffer eibach springs and polyurethane anti sway bar bushes.
Might be worth as others have said looking at new tyres if the current ones are dry and hard before you look at smaller wheels (anything smaller than a 18 look crap on a w219!)
