Evening All.
Today driving back from the shop, Some stupid hitchhiker almost stepped in front of me. Instant reaction, I went for the Horn, Nothing, not a squeek, not a pip.
Tried it again, Dead. Thing is, Don't even know where to start, Do i start from the steering wheel and work towards the horn, or vice versa.
Any help appreciated.
Mike.

MB's use a live feed in the column, as MB Service center check the fuse though the horns will probably be water damaged

Mike, if it does turn out to be the actual horn itself I have a good pair of horns just removed from a 1992 300e yesterday. Let me know, Leigh.:)

Most likely the horn itself. There are usually two, one high tone and one low tone. They're a diaphragm type and after a time they seize up.
One is visible at the front the other may be hidden within one of the front wings.

Just buy a replacements from any motorfactors, they'll be sunstantially cheaper than the MB ones.
