hazard light and signal lights

I have a 1995 300D Mercedes. My hazard lights do not work and my signal lights do not work. What should I look for to solve the problem?

It sounds like it could be the relay that they both use is faulty. Also while your checking that, you might want to check if any fuses are blown.
