HI,

Just connected the battery up after a couple of months of the car sitting and 5 mins in the journey the Hazards are going and won't turn off,
then the wipers start going and wont turn off.

Hazards a still going once car is off and key removed, is this a relay or something to do with the alarm?

Battery is fully charged.

Many Thanks

Hello and welcome,

Sounds more likely that water has gotten into the electrics somewhere. Are all the scuttle drains clear of leaves etc?

Yeah there is quite a build up of leaves in the corners by the firewall.

I'll blast them out once this rain clears up.

Thanks for the welcome!

You’ll also need to lift the carpets in the footwells and see what condition the wiring is in…:(

Forgot to mention that the rear window defrost button was lighting up simultaneously with the hazard warning.

Will check the hazard blinker wiper relay once it stops raining.

Problem fixed... turned out to be condensation in fuse box.
