Sprinter losing coolant,1997 310D,122k miles.Estimate possibly 1/4 pint per week.Nothing unusual in coolant-looks clean and bright green in colour-no obvious leaks from hoses/rad/matrix.Engine has become "lumpy" when idling from cold.Could this be the dreaded hgf?If so how much should I be expecting to pay for replacement at independent specialists?Any info/advice appreciated.
