Headgasket replacement

Hi, going to replace the headgasket on my 2002 308 cdi sprinter next week and wondered if anyone had an online manual page they knew about that I could download? And the pitfalls to watch out for!!

Hi Kozzi,

Quite a big job the head gasket on the CDI, a lot of parts to strip off before you even get to the head bolts.

I have a print out from WIS somewhere at home so will look it out but it maybe in German as I used to work for Mercedes in the Netherlands several years ago.

I have done quite a lot of CDI head gaskets and it is not really a job for an amateur unless you are vaery confident.

Once I get home I will look it out and get it scanned in.

Make sure you buy the OE head gasket, not a part to tyr and save a few quid on !
