As the image shows, a piece of plastic has snapped which attaches to the headlight adjuster arm. Looks like someone was a bit rough with it in the past. Does this mean a compete new headlight set or is there a way to fix this?

Thank you in advance.

I suspect that it would mean a replacement headlight unit.
I'm not sure whether it would glue, even if nothing is missing, but I'd be tempted to try some resin putty to fix it.

Well, I think I stand corrected.

I just looked a lot more closely at the photos I took of both units and they looked exactly the same apart from the fact the broken one's adjustment mech arm was shorter, hence me thinking it was snapped. I've just been out to the car quickly in the drizzle and dark and had a rummage and I am able to pull the adjustment unit back towards the white connection bit. So I think it will go back together. It might be a bit of a struggle though as there's not much space to play with and the adjustment arm goes back easily. If it saves me £60 for a replacement unit, I'm prepared to struggle until it's done lol

Thanks for replying and getting me questioning things again. I'll keep you informed.

I did get it back on but it was a phaff!! And now the headlight beam is much lower than nearside due to the whole front part being pulled back to the motor arm.

I'll sort that out next.

Thanks for replying and getting me to question myself again. Saved a few quid!
