Headlight Adjustment for Europe

Hi Guys,

I'm off to France next month in my W203 C270cdi estate. The manual says to visit a dealer to sort out the headlight adjustment. In previous cars I've just bought a universal kit from Halfords to divert the beams. Has anyone any tips to avoid paying a dealers premium. Obviously if I have to visit a dealer I will do without question, but any input would be welcome.

Are they Xenon or normal as most Xenon can be adjusted with a lever inside

As Malcolm says xenons are adjustable with a lever - mine aren't & I had to use the steam driven sticker approach. You'll probably find them a bit different - previously there were lots of angular lines on the lenses - the new lenses dont and diverters come with pictures of different car lights & instructions on where to fit them. I got mine on board the ferry for around a fiver so I guess they'll be widely available elsewhere for less if you plan ahead

Yup, as I've found out with my LHD lamps on my RHD car
