Hi all. I've recently noticed that my nearside headlight on my 2013 CLS keeps flickering on and off. It doesn't always do it, but when it does its not long before it works normally.
Also I've had an error message saying adaptive high beam unavailable, followed shortly after with adaptive high beam available.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem??
The lights are the LED intelligent ones which turn with the steering etc.
Brilliant lights otherwise.
As ever, thanks in advance for all your nuggets of information.

That sounds like moisture in the control unit, have to admit I wouldn’t have a clue how to fix it but I’m sure a good independent would have come across this before and know how to fix

Thanks for that. I have wondered myself if it's something like that.
I haven't taken it anywhere yet.
Interestingly when the light goes out there is no error messages on the dash...
I hope it's not another massive bill!
Cheers.

Thinking about it, an auto electrician would probably be just as good at seeing if there’s moisture in something, just another avenue to consider if where you take it to say it needs a new headlight (which it shouldn’t),

Hope it doesn't need completely replacing.
That's something that keeps me up at night!
I will have to pay another visit to my local specialist and see what they say.
Cheers.
