Does anyone have any details of after market headlight lens retailers?
I need a replacement but can only buy the whole headlight from the dealer.
Alternatively can anyone recommend a workshop in the West Midlands that could remove and reseal the existing lens, the problem is the unit seal is damaged and it gets condensation.
Car is an S350 2016 offside.
Thanks,

Not sure they're even sealed when new, they all get condensation inside them in certain climates. Unless you have a puddle of water inside them I wouldn't bother.

On one of my older Mercs a few years ago, the lenses went cloudy. From a caravan supply shop I got some Perspex window polish and gave them a go. It didn't take all the deep scratches, but the lights were much better and clearer

lenses tend to be glued to the light assembly in most cars

True, but the back of the headlight is rarely sealed, in fact some have vents for air to circulate inside the headlight, so condensation cannot be avoided.

This one is quite bad, the inside of the lens was damaged, I guess by a blown bulb. Not sure if the edge was damaged. That’s why I wanted to source a new lens. I’ve looked into the seal and it seems to have an RTV bead around the joint, which needs to be heated up. I just wanted to find a garage that had experience in this rather than try it myself.

A user on here recently fitted Chinese lenses bought on eBay or Amazon for his W220 and it worked well. The thread is on here somewhere.

If the lens is fitted with butyl replacing it should be easily DIY’able

Thanks, I’ll check the site out. For info, the dealer I bought from is still promising to fix the problem, he’s trying to get the correct lens.
