Headlight resoration

Spent a couple of hours today with one of the 3M Headlight Restoration kits. They cost around £20 from Amazon. The kit gives you a velcro type pad that fits to a handheld drill, and a number of different grades of sand paper, ending with a polishing pad. I'm pleased with the final result, a lot cheaper than replacing the lights!

Lol, sure. Just pay my flight and hotel board and I'd be glad to

Tode, it took a couple of hours. My cordless drill was a bit rubbish, so the first two sands were slow going. I did the final polishes with a corded drill - carefully, and that gave better results.

Excellent job and a great result.Am tempted to do this with my own lights as its bably needed but am nervous of going near them with any power tools.Could end up being an expensive restoration fo me!

Don't be nervous, I am certainly far from skilled when it comes to anything mechanical, I work in IT for a living!
