The drivers side headlamp wiper has stopped just recently. Any ideas how easy these are to replace and how to get to them?

I've got the service CD of ebay but I can't find the section for this.

I've just had a chance to get underneath my car and I cant see any way of getting at the headlamp wiper.

I've removed a small cover panel but could not see anything that looked anything like the wiper motor.

I've got a 1995 E320 if this helps

regards
Graham

Any luck with your wiper Graham? I have the same problem on the same car and can't find a solution.

w124 headlamp wiper

I recently helped my neighbour remove the unit from his 1996 w124 300.
The washer unit is secured to the back of the headlmap unit.
On my 1989 w124 e230, this is seperate to the headlamp.
From memory, first remove the wiper arm and disconnect the rubber water pipe from its nipple. Remove the bottom headlight trim panel screw and remove cover.
Remove the indicator corner unit , this unit is held in place by the plastic "tongue" which forms part of the indicator body.
Gently squeeze the tongues together and the unit should come out.
The headlamp unit is held by three screws.
The wiring connector for the washer unit will require removing.
We found one of the two "tags" securing the back of the motor cover had broken.
This has part of the operating arm mechanism built into it, and therefore the unit stopped working. A cleandown, and a reasonable "Heath-Robinson repair, and now works fine again.

Hope this helps.
