Hi
Where do the Mercedes designers hide the relays for the headlights, or do they not use relays.
The car in question is an A Class, 1999, W168033.

Hi matt,,no relays though you do have a lighting module that is manily for lamp monitoring, they all work off the stalk, the stalk does clean up with a good switch cleaner.

Sorry that I could not get back before

Hi
Most grateful to you.
Does the heavy current go through the module or the stalk.

Directly through the stalk,, I can recall my surprise a while back when I checked on other cars, and all of them, direct off the stalk, and yes the current flows through it, plus the little arc that takes place when it is released
