Heated Rear Screen

The Heated Rear Screen on my W124 E220 appears not to be working despite the light on the switch illuminating. I used to marvel how it would quickly clear even when it was iced. I have not had a chance to look at it yet. I would be grateful for ideas.

Look at the connector/s on the rear screen if visible..then check fusebox!

Can anyone advise exactly where the connector is on the wiring loom where it joins the rear heated screen. Is it accessible from the boot or under the parcel shelf ?
