Hi,

I bought my 2001 C320 Avantgarde before Christmas and it is fantastic.. except I had a problem with the iginition. Three times when the car had been parked briefly it wouldn't restart ie the key would turn and the starter motor went but not ignition. On the third time it took an hour before it got going and that was when I was about to show a mobile mechanic the problem!

I drove straight to the garage (not MB) and they had it for a week and couldn't repeat the fault. I now have the car back and it seems to be okay. any ideas?

Secondly the rear window is demisting. I have checked fuses 10 and 41 and they are fine, again any ideas

Thanks

Test by checking voltage at the rear screen. , remove the trims at the sides and check at the connectors.
