heated rear windscreen

hi guys,
my heated rear windscreen is not working, when the switch is pressed the red l.e.d does not light up. i have a Haynes manual but there appears to be no wiring diagram for the 'heated rear windscreen circuit'. does anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram so i can trace the fault

You dont mention which model you have, but I would check the fuse first.

hi guys, i've checked the fuse and its fine, its the switch i'm having problems testing, the car is a 1997 C180 Classic, when the switch is pressed the red l.e.d. does not light up. when i've dismantled the console to gain access to the switch, the switch is part of a printed circuit board with a wiring loom with many wires, this is why i need a wiring diagram. thanx guys.
