Heated Seats Not Working C Class Coupe

Have 2019 C Class Coupe and recently replaced the interior with red leather interior from 2018 C class coupe (car had been written off got interior from it)

however when seats were all connected up when you heat the heated seats button the switch lights up but turns off in a few seconds - seems to be tripping or somthing makikg the circuit short

Any ideas what it might be or how I would fix the problem.

You must show to the car you have that extra with a programming tool, autel can do these as well.

Welcome, a diagnostic would certainly pinpoint the issue, suspect there's a wire shorting when things have been moved around

Hi I did indeed, got plugged into the diagnosis tool and it came up as a faulty module under front passenger seat which was causing the seat circuit to “short” when switched on

Sometimes I ignore a diagnostic tools and I am using a different ways to find out where TF is the problem.
