Heated Seats W210

Hi, I have W210 2001 cdi and the heated seat has packed in. the back and the passenger seats heat up fine. But the base of the drivers seat no longer heats up? where should i start looking to cure the problem? cheerrs

sounds like the element int he seat has broken, replace the element is the only thing to do unless someone here has had the same problem and knows otherwise.

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
I will be removing my own seats shortly, to clean underneath and also the covers, and to also tighten the driver's seat up (198,000 miles of arses takes its toll).

I will post what I find.

Check underneath your seat first - there are connections under there, one will be for the heating. Make sure none have been dislodged.
