Hey all,
Last night when fiddling with replacing the bulbs in the heater controls on a W124 (250D '89) I think I touched a short and blew a fuse - well a spark did jump ... All control lights stopped working after this.
I could not find any relevant fuse in the main fuse box. Searching through the forums here, I've seen mentioned a red fuse behind the instrument panel. Before I go dismantling everything, can someone confirm that this is the fuse for the heating control lights?
Also, on a side note, anyone know if the vents on the W124 have light bulbs in them too? What about the window switches, are they supposed to be illuminated?
Thanks,
m.
