Heater controls dont work...

Hi folks, ive not long bought a 97 E280. Problem is, the heater controls dont work. I can set the temperature fine, but the wheel that lets me change where the heat comes from doesnt work, ie - directed to feet etc... How do these work and how can i fix it?


Also, how do i turn on the heated seats? I cannot find a button anywhere.
