Heater Fan will not work when engine is running - 190e

I am having problems with the heater fan, it only works when the ignition is turned on, but as soon as the engine is started - the fan stops.
(the heat remains on though)
If anyone knows what the problem might be please let me know.

Hi Tom

I would try the ignition switch. Situated at the back of the ignition barrel. I find this is usually where the problem is.

At least it is a start.

This afternoon, I tried just turning the key in the ignition back slightly after starting engine and the fan started working.
So I guess the problem is with the ignition switch.
