Hi. The top heater hose on my 2010 c250 is leaking at the joint where it is attached to the platic joint that passes through the firewall. I have detached both ends from the plastic elbow that passes through but cant get enough wiggle room to remove the plastic double elbow. Can anyone tell me wether it seperates on both sides of the firewall and how. I have tried twisting it but doesnt seem to come apart. 1726319095230.png this is a picture of the joint. Thanks for any info. 1726319155534.png

Looks like the clips will need removing to be able to take the ellbow out .Then fit the ellbow in to the scuttle . And install one hose in the car on to ellbow .And fit the other hose in the engine compartment . Can you fish the ellbow with one hose on it , in to the hole from inside the car ?

Smart + others :)
They do come apart, its generally only the top hose that fails, the plastic part that rots. If you remove spring clip, they will separate with a little wiggle and spray.
