heater motor broken on w202

hello im new to the forum i have an m plate c220 the heater motor needs to be replaced any info on how to strip out and replace the motor will heip me no end any diagrams would be helpful thank you

It should be just the carbon brushes on the motor 390 in the link and you drop the motor down to get it out.

When the motor rund on slow speed only its the reg pack

Replacement brushes are available for these motors on ebay for £12.50.

I fitted the very same brushes in my Passat and they worked a treat

i fitted the new brushes last night and the motor is working fine mb wanted £240+ vat for a new motor £15.50 for new brushes on ebay and 1hour of my time but the help i have had from the forum members is second to none once agene i thankyou my brothers

I just wonder how many times people have paid dealers the full whack for simple little jobs that they could have done themselves.
