Heater Motor

followed the useful thread a while back on how to get the heater motor out.

I have dropped it and it all looked fine. However can someone confirm that if I put a +12v and earth on the terminals, it should spin / turn right? My doesn;t so i guess its completely dead.

Can someone shed some light before i go and get a brand new one
