Heater problem BTW it is a 2002 model

Hi Guys - I have an internal heater issue with my C200 Kompressor Elegance - the heater works but only blows cold air - can anyone assist please - I have had all the vents and hoses blown through with an air compressor and although it helped a little, I still have a very cold car - HELP !!! It is a 2002 Model

Duovalve most likely gummed up, clean or replace (or hit with a mallet repeatedly)…:rolleyes:

Duovalve most likely gummed up, clean or replace (or hit with a mallet repeatedly)…:rolleyes:
What on earth and where is the Duovalve please ?

What on earth and where is the Duovalve please ?
In the engine bay, it’s used to supply hot water to the heater matrix… although realised as yours is a W203 it doesn’t have one… and it’s all done by flaps…

You can try normalising the flaps by holding Windscreen defrost and recirc buttons until the lights flash.

Is it getting up to temperature? Mine reall struggles to get to normal operating temperature this weather. It’s had a new thermostat and waterpump. OK in summer but can see temp gauge dropping on a motorway run in the very cold weather.

Not at all - it blows cold ONLY !!! Mine also has a new stat, hoses etc.,and still the fan works but no heat !

When you say mine is a W203 - what do you mean by that please ??
Car model - it’s the first 3 numbers of you vin - it denotes the chassis type
