heater problem

hi all first timer here, i have 1997 c180 elegance and the heater is on constantly? plus the abs warning light comes on and off when it feels like , has anyone got any ideas :-?

Probably not much help but here goes

My C180 had the same heater problem when I bought it.

Just out of interest, I removed the centre walnut, removed the heater controls, disconnected, cleaned and reconnected the wiring an hey presto the heater works again now.
