As the weather starts to cool, I have noticed that the heater on my 2000 CL500 is behaving rather oddly. I get a brief rush of warm air soon after starting, but after that seem unable to coax any heat at all from the system, even with the aircon set at 80. At the same time, the fan output does not seem to bear any relation to the aircon control panel display. Switching to front screen demist may or may not direct warm air to the screen. Any ideas would be welcome.
