When your heating continues to run hot when switched to cold it normally means that power has been lost to the heater flow valve (mono or duovalve ) as these default to full open when power is lost, check your fuses and the electrical connection to the valve.
You should be able to find your system if you use the first 6 digits of your VIN no.to find your vehicle in here;http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=3.

These valves do seize up from time to time, they can with luck be freed up and made to work, some firms do a PX
