Heating controls/illumination?

Advice please on how to remove the rotary thumb temperature controls for the heating either side of the centre console, and should they be illuminated?

i thought you were referring to the knobs you turn left right etc to control fan/heat

using a pliars with a strong soft cloth between the pliars and the knobs, pull hard and they'll pop out,

underneath you'll find there are small bulbs which burn out over time, simply pull the old bulbs out and replace them

Yes they should - need to remove the walnut centre trim - this wil expose the screws for holding the heater controls - you need to remove radio to remove walnut too

Many thanks - seems a lot of hassle to replace a couple of tiny bulbs!
