heating fan motor CLK 200

Hello all

I am a new member and this is the first time i have used the forum.

I have a CLK 200 year 2000 the heating fan motor works Intermittently is this a job i could do myself or would it be best to take to the garage ?.

A new fan will cost me about £120 but i do not know how to change has any body got any tips of how to go about the job ?.

go to heating and you can see it all, if you are sure that it is the fan rather than the control unit, still with a volt meter you should work it out.

Thank you for your reply i will try the control unit first i know this may sound daft is the blower motor in the front of the centre consul passenger side?
