Heating ???

Was in my friends 1986 C200 last night. It was very cold so whe had the heater set to full heat.

This was working fine until everytime we went round a corner, when we felt a sudden rush of cold air !!!

We drove round lots of corners then to re-create the effect.

The cold air seems to come from the centre of the car (cold air vents closed).

The air from the side vents still stays hot

any ideas ???

Ps had a similar effect in a Mk2 GTi golf once but never resolved that either

Mine does the same, big cabin, cold plastics, simple laws of thermodynamics. It stops once the materials in the car are warm.
