Hi. I have owned 2009 version since new and still going strong 52k miles later. A few electical niggles during that time but nothing serious. It may not be important for you but, the cd player in the command unit is notoriously fragile. Check that it's working because without it sat nav software and maps etc can't be updated. Enjoy your new car.

Welcome, Gazza, lovely motor the C207 E class coupe, particularly the 350 cdi, had one for over 3 years, great car, couple of niggles, but nowt to worry about.

hi again all,reagrding first post ,i was led up the garden path by the seller ,i did an online check of the vehicle and it came back as a cat c ,seller never mentioned it at all so i guess i had a lucky escape, but on the bright side i decided to stick with my persuit of a nice mercedes and found an absolute stunning 2009 clk coupe (petrol) ,picked it up last week and im smitten with it ,very stylish motor , few niggles (wing mirror controls not working ) but repitable dealer this time and they are to be done early next week ,thanks for the welcome guys ,i hope this is to be a long and happy experience owning a mercedes
