Greetings!
I have bought a 2006 A180 CDi.
Not my first Mercedes, up until two months ago I owned three W211 models, being a 2004 E500, a 2005 E350 and a 2005 E55 AMG.
I sold them all as I wanted to move to Australia to live, unfortunately to cut a long story short, the Corona virus (Covid-19) issue necessitated my return to New Zealand.
This A class was owned by good friends of mine, who also have a C320 CDi and an E350, amongst their ‘fleet’.
The A class is a bit of a ‘comedown’ performance wise, after my E class cars, but that’s to be expected (chalk and cheese). Is interesting to not that my A class is similar size wise to my Mother’s Honda Jazz, but is much roomier for me as a driver. Plus it has somewhat more get up and go!
I plan to keep the A class as my ‘daily hack’ for a while. Then down the track will look at adding another E class as my ‘good’ car! Currently am dribbling over a 2009 E500 Coupe............
