Hi all, I'm in Norfolk, halfway twix Norwich and gt Yarmouth, in charge of keeping SWMBO's ML270 ('52plate, metallic blue,auto diesel) on the road. I have a 2005 landcruiser diesel auto. Both HATE biodiesel, which is a pity as I have a biodiesel maker - my old vw passat 1.9 thrived on it. Still do some of my own mechanics, but getting fussier what I will attempt these days. I prefer brewing beer. I'll post my problem in the tech section. Cheers,

How do you get on when British Sugar is on campaign, sugar beet is not the most pleasant smell. The company I work for used to maintain their materials handling equipment but the engineers used to hate going in there in the summer because of the wasp's

the village is upwind (usually) of the factory - reedham gets most smells. The plus is we do not get snowed in, the factory keep the local roads clear with their jcb's to keep the beet rolling in. Having worked in an oil refinery for 30 odd years, beet really isn't a bad smell. Try mercaptans!
