Hi Guys,

I’m new here! Am about to purchase an E320 CDI Avantgarde Estate (54 Plate). It has only done 55k miles and comes with full Mercedes service history through 1 owner.

Before I part with my cash (3,500), I was hoping that a few of you could give me some pointers on things to look for when inspecting the vehicle?

Anyway - great to meet you all and look forward to learning more and looking after my new Merc!

Checked that it’s working as it should, that it’s not been reset past when it should be and that the pump is all good.

Ben only check is the day it was made, ie Friday leave well alone........I have had 4 Class's (I think) and all were great cars, except for the one I have now! It must have been a Friday car as it wonts to have every part changed whenever I go out in it
SBC is quite nice as you can hold the car in traffic without resting your foot on the brake pedal, though not all SBC pumps had this function. Rear air bags can leak there air out, but at 55k it should be all okay
I would definitely buy this 55k car
