Hello from a Newbie!

Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I've recently (well, last October) bought a '98 C240 Elegance. It had 56,000 miles and a full history when I got it.

So far, I'm really pleased with it, but there are a couple of things I'm not sure about - I'll put threads in the appropriate sections on here.

My user name is one I use on all the forums and things I'm registered on - I'm a huge VW fan (aircooled, though).

(which is a bit less practical than the Merc!!)

Hehe... It's a Sandrail. Hugely popular in America where they race them in the desert. Mine was built in Florida and I'm just rebuilding it to make it legal to use on the roads over here... Look out for a "How do I get flies out of my teeth?" thread very soon....

I recommend a full face helmet for the flies
At least you don't have too much bodywork to polish and you can see where the rust is hiding

with some fancy filters tacked on. ( mis-spent youth finally pays off)
