Hi All,
We've had our Mercedes for about two years now (W212 - E250 Blue Efficiency CDI Auto estate) and it's been good as gold.
Had always driven old bangers, before moving to a nearly new Saab 9-5 Aero for over a decade, then got this car, my first taste of luxury and it had 7 seats for the kids.
Certainly lived up to it's brand, a thing of beauty to look at and drive. Well until my wife reversed it into a log on the ground the first week we had it, luckily only minor damage!
It also has a load of AMG sports stuff/bodywork/badges stuck on it from previous owner, some of which looks a bit naff, but I am worried picking them off will leave a mark. Will post some pictures later.
Anyway do have a couple of questions but will post in the relevant section.

Unwanted badges are not an issue, all you need is a hair dryer and some fishing line. Just heat the badges and slice them off with the fishing line. A bit of 'T' cut and polish and the job is done
