I have joined in search of some help and hope you kind folks in the UK will permit my questions. As an owner of a 2010 Mercedes B200 (W245). Mine is the basic model, in very fine condition and I hope will continue to be my main vehicle for a few more years. My second car is a Smart Fortwo, diesel which only sees the road in the summer and it is a 2007.
Since the W245 was not sold in the United States, there are not many third party options available for the vehicle and of course anything from a dealer, if they have it, is very expensive.
My wife and I are planning on doing some camping this "covid" summer coming and would like to tow a small dingy/trailer with our car. Our problem is, we can't find a hitch assembly over here for the W245. I am hoping that I can find one through this forum, new or used and arrangement to ship it to Montreal. I bought a rack for the roof last year and it came from a company based in Ireland so my fingers are crossed.
