Hello. Just bought a C250d AMG Line PP+, 2017, absolutely loaded. Lovely thing.

First merc, coming from a heavily modified Fiat 124 Spider, this is quite a change in many ways!

Was pretty active on the Fiat forum, look forward to reading around here and I am sure learning loads.

Pic below - literally did 300 mile round trip upon buying it as we had a function to attend. It'll be getting full detail and clean this weekend.

Cheers

Yeah! Agree. Love the look of the estate...

It's a great car. Previous owner specxed some nice stuff including the pano roof and bigger wheels.

Hello and welcome
I used to have a Fiat 124Sport that was going to be my classic race car but couldn't make it out perform my Triumph 2.5pi

Thanks @Srdl and @AJD .

I am hoping it's a good'n. looked after by MB for 3 years, then an indy just now. Loads of service and maintenance history, 1 lady owner from new. Inside is immaculate, few age related marks on exterior but all touched up.

AMG, PP+ with the 19's and most options ticked inside. The Pano roof is awesome, as is the full body kit.

At 46k miles, so 11k / year whihc is about average. Drives superbly.

Not seeing anything on these that causes massive worry - inlet manifold issues in '18 models.?

however, it'll be well looked after, doing about 6k motorway/ A road miles each year.

It is a lovely thing!

If you’re only doing ~6k miles, why did you choose diesel ?

@Blobcat

Those 6k miles are all in 200-400 ish round trips to see friends and family out of county. Mixed with some more local driving. I don't commute anymore and partner has a small petrol for local town trips and her work.

I didn't SEEK a diesel, but I wanted a luxurious and well specced quick ish saloon as our family expands....used market is tough right now and I tried a Giulia and a 3 series (ew) and then this popped up locally ...couldn't say no as it'd pretty much how I'd have specded it ! It drove better than both imo. The 320d couldn't have been more dull...although the Giulia 280hp was quicker, i found its fit and finish somewhat wanting

First ever auto and second diesel in 13 years. So far so good.

Hopefully haven't made a mistake. !

Long journeys are what euro 6 diseasals love, they really react badly to short trips :(

I think previous owner did a lot of longer trips so its had a decent life so far. I'm assuming a few 10- 20 Milers every few days won't kill it as long as it gets a fast run ~100 mile run every fortnight or so ? That's pretty much my usage.

Is this dpf or egr concerns ? Is there a known dpf clearance process ?

I'll move to another thread if this isn't the right place for these queries.

Thanks
