Hello,
Only joined the forum a couple of days ago so would like to say hello.
I bought the mercedes in march 2019 and have only covered about 1200 miles in that time. It came with quite a bit of recent service history and invoices for work done. The previous owner has blinged it up with chrome wheel arches and lots of extra chrome outside and extra chrome inside ( the chrome wheel arches weren't put on to hide rust, the body is exceptionally good). It also has "privacy curtains" and wind deflectors on all four windows.
My previous car was a 1993 Lexus LS400 which I owned for 10 years and in all that time it only had two minor faults until January this year when it developed an intermittent rough running fault which was proving very difficult to rectify as too old to plug in to diagnose fault, so very reluctantly car had to go, hence why I bought this car to replace it.
I think this was not one of my best decisions as I already have a possible major fault with the gearbox ( car has only done 99000 miles) !! I will ask for advice on a seperate thread.
