Hi, I am new to the forum and new to owning a MB, having had Audi and VWs for the last 15 years - taken a while but have now realised the error of my ways!! Due to changes in my working patterns, reduced mileage etc, bought myself a second hand 2010 c220 Elegance. Need to undertake small local journeys mixed with some longer 250+ miles runs (and maybe an occasional run to the alps if we are ever allowed back there), so wanted comfort and enough power to cope. All good, drives beautifully (better than my last couple of cars) and plentiful in refinements, expected marks for a 10/11 year old car but otherwise well looked after and in excellent condition.
Everything was working, but suddenly the Sat Nav stopped working, disc read error and on checking, the CDs no longer read either. Not the end of the world as I use a Bluetooth receiver through the Media Interace connection for music mostly and can always use Google maps. But it is annoying.
Ive not been able to locate a fix as yet, has anyone any ideas? Also read a few posts about changing/upgrading the Audio 20 to a new version. Is this possible in this model? If so is it worth it?
